Kiri is a dedicated entrepreneur who found her heart in artisan cheese. She has worked for The Pasta Shop, Raymond & Co Cheesemongers, Tumalo Farms, the California Milk Advisory Board, and has interned with Monteillet Fromagerie. Previously, she's managed educational programming for California's Artisan Cheese Festival and was a board member of the California Artisan Cheese Guild. In 2011, Kiri purchased The Cheese School with Daphne Zepos. When she's not at Fishers or The Cheese School most often she can be found eating cheese or feeding it to friends and family.

Noreen blissfully found herself behind a cheese counter while working towards her Art History degree in San Francisco, where she developed a respect/addiction for artisan products. Becoming cheese-centric, she dove head first into her conquest to eat as much cheese as humanly possible. She quickly learned that cheese consumption on a budget is best done behind a cheese counter and quickly focused on mongering. Working at Andronico’s and Portland's Cheese Bar, she gained an infectious enthusiasm for cheese handling and education. She eventually landed at The Cheese School of San Francisco as the General Manager, Cheese and Beer Buyer. But the call of the cheese case stayed strong and Noreen jumped at the opportunity to open a sister location, Fisher’s Cheese + Wine. She is ecstatic about opening a cheese and wine cafe and continuing the spread of cheese love!
Monica Kusaka Herrero // Kitchen Manager
Monica started her cheese journey in the dairy dense lands of the Midwest. She followed her interest in cheese to northern Italy where she spent a Spring on a sheep and goat farm learning to plant veggies and make cheese. Back in the US, she landed in San Francisco and continued to broaden her new found love of cheese at The Cheese School, enthusiastically adding cheese to all things food. When not experimenting in the kitchen, you can find her outdoors exploring the Bay Area.
